Greetings from UNESCO Heritage City of Ahmedabad, venue of ICEVI World conference
You must be either on the way to Ahmedabad or busy packing your bags. We wish to share the following information for your convenience:
1. Weather: The temperature at present is in the ranges of 14-34 degree celsius, mostly sunny with 28% humidity with no possibilities of rain. As all facilities (except reception dinner) have air conditioners. No need to bring any warm clothes
2. Reception at Arrival: We have put up Reception Desks and banners at the domestic as well international terminals to receive you. Our team, headed by Dr. Dharmendra Jena, shall receive you on your arrival and arrange you travel to respective hotels. 3. Hotels: We have arranged accommodation for all of you at 3 hotels and one guest house. Every hotel has a dedicated host who shall look after your check in and provide you other support during your stay. Their contacts details are:

5. Local Transport: We have arranged local transport for all the participants staying at conference approved hotels and guest houses. Your host at the respective hotels shall arrange all transport from hotel to venue, to reception and return and then drop you at the airport. 6. Meals: The conference shall provide you all 3 lunches, reception dinner on 14th November and snack boxes on evenings of 15th and 16th November. Your hotel tariff includes complimentary breakfast at all hotels; and on payment basis at the Guest House
7. Japanese Therapy: Our team from College of Japanese Manual Medical Therapy for Persons with Visual Impairment shall provide JMMT to the participants on first cum first basis at the venue of the conference. 8. Vision in the Dark: Blind People’s Association is running vision in the dark (visit Facebook: www.facebook.com/visioninthedark). 20 participants shall be able to visit this experiment each day on 14th and 15th November between 4.00 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. For booking for this visit meet Ms Sharda Khatri at reception desk Mobile +91 9727702772
9. Exhibition: There are 15 stalls for showing technology products. All these stalls shall remain open during 9.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on all 3 days. 10. Online Participation: We have made arrangements for enabling such participants who could join us due to any unavoidable circumstances, non availability of visa from such countries from which travel to India is restricted. 11. Video Screening of Your Innovative Programs: We are making arrangements for video screening of innovative programs of the participants near the reception desk as well as in the food court. You are welcome to bring your short videos and share the same with Sumit Patel: +91 7016089029
