The International Council for Education of People with Visual Impairment (ICEVI) is pleased to announce its World Conference and General Assembly which will take place in Ahmedabad India on 14 – 17 November 2024.

The World Conference is hosted by the Blind People’s Association (BPA), Ahmedabad India, which is one of the premier organisations serving persons with visual impairment in India.  The Conference Co-Host is Sense India, a leading organisation in developing services for deafblind people in India, Bangladesh and Nepal.

President’s Message

It is with much pleasure that I extend to you on behalf of the Executive Board of ICEVI an invitation to join us in Ahmedabad, India for our World Conference and General Assembly, in November, 2024.  The Host Committee is already hard at work and determined that the World Conference will be a great learning experience.

We are delighted that Ms Siân Tesni has agreed to serve as Chair of the Programme Committee and we hope that many of you will respond to this “Call for Papers” by submitting an abstract for consideration.
